COMMUNITY MATTERS HERE.
We love connecting with one another both in church, and between Sundays. It starts right after worship when everyone is invited to join us downstairs in the vestry for coffee and refreshments. Coffee hour on Sunday mornings is a great time to catch up with old friends, and meet new ones.
Other fellowship opportunities are available throughout the week. The Occasional Group, better known as TOGS, is a monthly breakfast gathering of women at a local restaurant. ROMEOs is a regular gathering for the retired men of the congregation. Both groups love having new members, and welcome you!
Our Friday Family Fellowship gathering takes place on the second Friday of each month. All families with at least one child age 18 or younger are invited to attend. The church provides the meal (usually pizza, burritos, or something else from a local restaurant) and all you need to do is show up. Kids have a great time playing games, and parents get a chance to connect with one another. Plus, there’s nothing to cook, and nothing to clean up.
The newest fellowship gathering at our church is our LGBTQ group. All LGBTQ folks are invited to join together for potlucks, game nights, bowling, and more. We’ve been an Open and Affirming church, which means we welcome people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, for over twenty years now. We’re thrilled to have this new fellowship group thriving at our church!
